About the Event
Ambo Dance Theatre is proud to present our season finale production of Well Behaved Womxn..., a series of dance works celebrating the underrepresented stories of womxn who have changed the world and not received their due credit! Based on the saying "well behaved womxn seldom make history," this production serves to empower the rising generation by connecting them with the stories and figures that paved the way for their ascension.
There are TWO versions of this production! The evening productions of Well Behaved Womxn..., put on by Ambo Dance Theatre's Professional Company, present longer form works created and performed by professionals. The matinee productions of Well Behaved Womxn...Jr., put on by the Ambo Dance Theatre School, include shorter works by dancers of diverse age, background, and ability, including excerpts of the Professional Company works presented during the evening shows!
