For adult dancers (18 or older/ high school graduate) stepping into a professional space with passion, purpose, and performance at the core. The Apprentice Company is Ambo’s second highest training and performance group for dancers committed to deepening their artistry while contributing meaningfully to the creative process. Designed as a bridge to full professional work, Apprentice Company dancers train, rehearse, and perform collaboratively — without paying tuition or production fees. This is where dedication meets opportunity.
Performance-Focused: dancers rehearse and perform year-round
No tuition or production fees: dancers give their time and artistry instead of financial commitment
Additional Requirements: Participate in fundraising initiatives, Help strike (tear down) shows, and Hang 10 posters per show (alternatives available)
Weekly Commitment: Dancers must commit to two days per week, which includes class followed by rehearsal
Class Access: Attend classes are free
Additional benefits: Annual professional headshot is provided
