Ambo Dance Theatre is thrilled to offer internships in the following two areas:

 

PR and Marketing

Arts Administration

 

The Internship period can begin anytime. We just ask that you be willing to commit to working for approximately 16 weeks (4 months). This application form is for both internships - you will select which you are applying for below! Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.

These internships are open to people who are high school graduates and/or 18+ years old who have an interest in PR and Marketing (especially for the arts and arts organizations), as well as Arts Administration. You do NOT need to have experience in Dance specifically, but relevant Dance or Arts experience is preferred and taken into consideration. 

 

These internships are UNPAID and require a commitment of 8-12 hours per week for approximately 16 weeks, scheduled flexibly to your availability. In exchange for their work, interns will have access to all age- and level-appropriate classes for free, comp tickets to all Ambo events, relevant and transferable work experience centered on developing and enhancing your skills, portfolio-building opportunities, and a professional letter of recommendation for future employment opportunities. Once selected for this opportunity, the internship onboarding meeting consists of identifying and outlining the intern's goals so that Ambo Dance Theatre can assign interns to projects that align with their long-term growth goals.
