
Youth Apprentice Company
The Youth Apprentice Company is an advanced training program for dedicated dancers ages 12 and up who are preparing for professional pathways in dance. With three rehearsals per week, this company is designed to deepen technique, develop artistry, and provide meaningful performance experiences — including the opportunity to perform alongside Ambo Dance Theatre’s Professional Company. This program supports each dancer's growth while offering real-world experience and a community that values inclusivity, creativity, and commitment.
Weekly Rehearsals: Dancers train three days per week as part of their pre-professional development
Tuition-Based: Monthly tuition is required for participation, which covers production fees and performance costs.
Performance Opportunities: Appear on stage with Ambo Dance Theatre’s Professional Company and eligible for additional choreographic and performance opportunities.
Long-Term Growth: Take on a role as choreographer and/or teacher during contract period.
Payment: Paid performances with the Professional Company
Inclusive Auditions: We are currently auditioning dancers ages 12+ of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities to join the 2026 Kentucky NACHMO Dance Festival and/or the Youth Apprentice Company
