What is NACHMO?
NACHMO (which stands for National Choreography Month) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building an inclusive and active dance community across the world!

January Challenge
Every January, NACHMO issues a challenge for choreographers of all levels to create movement daily using short, accessible prompts! You can participate for recreation, or with the goal of staging an entirely new work!

Ambo x NACHMO
Ambo uses the NACHMO January Challenge as a means of kicking off the new year of dance! Using the daily prompts given, choreographers from the company or the community stage brand new works that are premiered in a mixed-bill show in March.
