Ambo's Artist Residency Program has two goals: to enrich our Ambo and Louisville community by bringing in diverse artists to share their work, and to provide professional opportunities to working dance artists!
Meet our Summer 2023 Artist in Residence
Alex Bellocq
(he/him)
Alex Bellocq (he/him) is a choreographer, filmmaker, and company dancer with Lexington Ballet Company in Lexington, Kentucky. After receiving his degree from Northern Kentucky University, he continued his studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Israel, before returning to America and launching his professional performing career.
