Ambo Dance Theatre's Youth Apprentice Program began at the start of our 2020 season in order to help foster talents and provide professional experiences to promising young dancers in Louisville. This program's ultimate goal is to help build clear pathways and eliminate barriers of entry into a professional career in dance!

This is a great place to tell your story and give people more insight into who you are, what you do, and why it’s all about you.

Savannah Bennett

Savannah began dancing at age 2 1/2 and currently dances at Upstage Dance Centre where she train in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatic Arts, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Pre-pointe, and Improv. Her favorite style of dance is Contemporary because she can truly express herself through the artistry and movement, as well as connect emotionally with a piece. She loves going to dance conventions and learning from some of the best professionals and choreographers in the dance industry. Alongside dancing competitively at Upstage, she is a part of Noe Middle School’s resident modern company, Noe Dance Theatre, and a member of Noe’s dance team. When she is not dancing, she enjoys spending time at home with her two dogs, Chloe and Millie, and binge-watching Friends and The Office on Netflix. She is excited for her next adventure as a Dance major at the Youth Performing Arts School at duPont Manual High School!
