The Ambo Dance Theatre School is proud to premiere its first annual Dance School Production since merging with the Louisville Contemporary Dance School, the sixth production of its kind in LCDS's history! Where the Wild Things Are is a coming-of-age story that follows Max as he sails to a mysterious island after being sent to bed for his overly-rambunctious behavior.  On the island, Max encounters many monsters, or Wild Things, eventually becoming their king. But, alas, when Max feels lonely, he decides to give up his throne and sail away home.  This show features performances from Ambo's Dance School students alongside the brilliant narration of Anthony Trotter Jr.!

TICKETS:

We offer different ticket prices by age:

• Adult Tickets (18+) - $20
• Youth Tickets (ages 3-17) - $15
• Baby Tickets (ages 0-2 years) - FREE!

We also sell "Donation Tickets" in $5 increments for those wanting to make donations to our organization. All donations and ticket costs go to supporting our Dance School students on scholarship so that we can continue to make dance accessible to our community! Dance belongs to everyone!

MASKING POLICY:

The masking policy for this performance is set based on the rules and regulations of the Jefferson County Public Schools system. We will keep you updated if masks become required in their facilities. At this time, masking is optional!

PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY:

Parking is available in the back lot located off of 1st Street. Turn onto first street from Hill Street to access the parking lot entrance. Please enter the performance space through the Multipurpose Room doors located directly off the parking lot.
